How to schedule a Home Inspection appointment:

The scheduling process is fairly simple and I recommend that you just pick-up the telephone and call me at the above number. I will talk you through the process.

I do need to know a little information from you:

Buyer's Name, eMail Address, and Phone Number
Realtor's Name, Agency, eMail Address,
and Phone Number

I will also need to know a little information about the dwelling
to be inspected:

Single Family Home, Condo, Townhouse or Multi-unit?
(if Condo, is the roof accessible to view the AC unit?)
Property Address
Age - or year built
Size - total square footage
(if multi units, the number of units and total of
all square footage)
Occupied or Vacant?
(if vacant are all of the utilities on or at least have power on?)
Is there a Pool and/or Spa and do you want these inspected?
Is there a Guesthouse with kitchen facilities?
Unique features, if any

Scheduling:

If you have a purchase agreement that contains a home inspection contingency, be sure to schedule the inspection before the expiration date. If at all possible, choose a time when you can join the inspector onsite for an hour or so. Past clients frequently tell me that this one on one time with the inspector is the most valuable part of the inspection process.

I recognize that family members, parents and children want to be part of the inspection process, which is fine, but I encourage you to minimize distractions so you are able to focus on the inspection process.

The inspection fee is dependent on the size, age and location of the home and will be established at the time of scheduling. Checks are accepted at the time of the inspection. At the time of the inspection, you will be asked to sign a Home Inspection Agreement.

Cancellation of Inspection:

Please be respectful of my time by contacting me as soon as possible if this inspection is to be cancelled so that I may plan accordingly or schedule other inspections. The following cancellation fees are observed;

Cancelled when inspector in route or onsite -The greater of 50% of inspection fee or $200
Cancelled once inspection has begun -Full price of inspection fee.
